My name is Zel and I am the owner of Melita Transport,  LLC.

After successfully negotiating the trucking industry for over 10 years as an over-the-road driver and owner-operator, I have learned what it takes to provide customers with the very best in transportation service. My dedication to excellence is evident especially in hauling fresh produce, meat, dairy products and a wide variety of other foods that are required to be carried in a temperature controlled environment. Whether at -20F or +80F, or anywhere in between, you can rely on the temperature to be maintained to your specifications at all times during the cargo’s travel between loading and unloading points.

A thermometer is used at the pick up location in order to verify the loading temperature of the product is appropriate (especially fresh produce). In addition, the temperature of the trailer's interior is also measured through the small rear door on a regular basis, during the trip, to make sure the chute in the trailer is serving it's purpose.

Your cargo will be riding in a 53' modern trailer on air cushions to minimize the impact of rough roads. We also use up to six load stabilizer bars (load-locks), to secure your cargo in place. This reinforces the importance of the safe transport of your product anywhere within the lower 48 states.
